Who we are
Couleur Café + Inc. sells homemade Haitian food in Ottawa, Ontario. Contact: [COURRIEL].
Weekly pre-orders
Orders are taken online until Wednesday at 8 pm (Ottawa time) and are ready on the following Saturday. Orders placed after the cutoff are for the next week. Quantities are limited; an order is confirmed only once payment is accepted.
Prices and payment
Prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes (HST) and any delivery fee are shown before payment. Payment is by card, processed by Square. We never see or store your full card number.
Pickup
Pickup is at the ByWard Market Vendor Village, Ottawa, on Saturday between 10 am – 2 pm. Orders not picked up during that window [À CONFIRMER: e.g. are kept until the end of the day, then can't be refunded because the food is perishable].
Delivery
Delivery is available for postal codes starting with K1, K2, on Saturday between 1 pm – 5 pm. The fee is $8.00, free on orders of $75.00 or more. Please make sure someone is there to receive the order. [À CONFIRMER: what happens if nobody is home]
Changes and cancellations
You can change or cancel your order until the cutoff by writing to [COURRIEL]; you will be fully refunded. After the cutoff, cooking has started and orders can't be cancelled or refunded. [À CONFIRMER]
If something is wrong
If an item is missing or not right, contact us within 24 hours with your order details and a photo if possible. We will make it right with a replacement or a refund. [À CONFIRMER]
Food safety and allergies
Our products are homemade and perishable: refrigerate them and eat them within the time shown on the label. Allergens are listed on each product, but our kitchen handles common allergens and we can't guarantee the absence of traces. [À CONFIRMER: storage instructions and allergens]
Pausing orders
We may pause pre-orders (holidays, full capacity). When orders are closed, the site says so and no payment is taken.
